Crowe River Rapids Cottage

An older, cozy, clean cottage situated on the bank of the Crowe River, 1/2 hour NORTH of Belleville, Ontario.

The front of the cottage overlooks the Callaghan Rapids and Conservation parkland. There is NO beach, but a cleared shoreline.

Every room has an individual thermostat for the electric baseboard heating.  An awesome view of the Callaghan Rapids.


Please note...The water entry becomes deep quickly, and is NOT suitable for small children.

There is a fully equipped kitchen/living room, two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other a Double. A rowboat and peddle boat are included to enjoy the river. Good fishing off the dock for Bass, Perch and Pike, and lots of sunfish.. An outdoor fire pit is in place.

A TV, (roof aerial) DVD/VCR players, BBQ, A/C, are included with the rental. All LINENS are also included, so all you need to bring is your suitcase and groceries.

A detached one room bunkie (no plumbing) is available for $100.00 a week. Perfect for teenagers. The bunkie has two single beds. There is a photo of the bunkie included in the listing.

A $200 deposit is required to confirm a reservation. PayPal, cheque or a bank transfer is accepted. Also, if you live in the Toronto area, please feel free to come by the house and meet us.

The rental is for 7 nights. Saturday to Saturday. Everyone will arrive to a fresh clean cottage. No surprises. The driving instructions will be provided when the confirmation deposit is received
